J"My friends on the Eau Claire Jazz, Inc. board of directors think I knew Thomas Edison and was there when he invented the phonograph. Well, not quite, but I have been spinning records for my own amusement since I bought my first 45 in the 60s. I have a collection of vinyl by artists who performed in Eau Claire in the 70s and 80s. After their gigs I purchased albums directly from them—and then the artists were never heard from again! In addition to those, I will be spinning jazz, pop, blues, soul, gospel, folk, a bit of country and even a disco tune or two from albums that date back to the 1930s."
