8:30PM SHOW: The Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind live comedy event that showcases footage from videos that were found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters across the country. Curators Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher take audiences on a guided tour of their latest and greatest VHS finds, providing live commentary and where-are-they-now updates on the people in these videotaped obscurities. From the curiously-produced industrial training video to the forsaken home movie donated to Goodwill, the Found Footage Festival resurrects these forgotten treasures and serves them up in a lively celebration of all things found. FFF has sold out hundreds of shows across North America, including the HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. The festival has been featured on Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, NPR and has been named a critic’s pick in dozens of publications, including the NY Times, LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Chicago Tribune.
Cost for the 3-course dinner/beer pairing and Found Footage Festival show is $40/person (the event is Rated R). This non-refundable down payment of $10 reserves your place, and the balance will be charged the night of the show.
